The U.S. workforce is dominated by immigrants in many industries. They account for nearly a third of all farmers, fishermen, and forest workers, as well as 25 percent of those who work in math and computer sciences. Over 4 million immigrants provide these services, making it the most popular sector for immigrants. Immigrants are a vital part of America’s diverse and vibrant communities. They contribute a lot to the country’s prosperity as workers, taxpayers, citizens, and neighbors.
